Brook McConnell, born in 1952, co-founded South Ocean Management Ltd. operations in Hong Kong and relocated there from the United States in 1992.

Before co-founding the company, he worked as an institutional securities broker with Melhado, Flynn & Associates in New York City for five years and, prior, as Vice President with PaineWebber, Inc. in Washington, D.C. for eight years.

He is a 1974 graduate of the University of Denver.

South Ocean Management Ltd. is registered and regulated by the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) in Hong Kong (ABH736), and the company itself is also registered in the US with the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC).
